Portable Home Security Alarm Systems
A portable security alarm system is generally a standalone, self powered battery

easy to install. They consist of a main control panel, bell box/siren and a range
of wireless security sensors. The sensors are usually
door/window magnetic type sensors and PIR motion sensors.
In addition, other wireless sensors can be installed for your safety such as smoke/fire
alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. There are virtually no cables to install –
only to power the main control panel and bell box/siren.
As the wireless sensors are not physically connected to the control panel very little
cabling is needed. The sensors are battery powered. So, providing you are good at
a little DIY, there is no real need to call a professional installer, thus cutting
down on cost. Installing a wireless sensor is very straightforward – you simply
screw it to the wall and program it into the alarm system via the control panel,
so that it recognises it.
